How to Make Aloe Vera Oil for Stronger Hair At Home
Gather Ingredients:
You’ll need fresh aloe vera leaves, coconut oil (or any carrier oil of your choice), and optional vitamin E capsules for added benefits.
Prepare Aloe Vera:
Cut the aloe vera leaves and remove the thorns. Scoop out the gel using a spoon and blend it into a smooth paste.
Mix with Oil:
In a saucepan, combine the aloe vera paste with an equal amount of coconut oil. You can also add the contents of vitamin E capsules at this stage.
Heat the Mixture:
Simmer the mixture on low heat, stirring occasionally. Continue heating until the aloe vera clumps and the oil turns a light brown color.
Strain the Oil:
Once the mixture has cooled, strain it through a cheesecloth or fine sieve to remove any solid particles.
Store Properly:
Pour the strained oil into a clean, dry glass jar or bottle. Ensure it is stored in a cool, dark place to maintain its potency.
Application:
To use, massage the aloe vera oil into your scalp and hair. Leave it on for at least 30 minutes before washing it off with a mild shampoo.
Frequency:
For best results, use the aloe vera oil 2-3 times a week. Regular application can help strengthen hair follicles and promote hair growth.
Benefits:
Aloe vera oil is known for its moisturizing properties, reducing dandruff, and improving overall scalp health, leading to stronger, shinier hair.
